Small to mid-size enterprises are a driving force of economies world-wide. The GCC is no exception, 80% of the GCC region’s business and employment market is made up of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). Their growth helps lead economic growth, and most importantly job creation! With unemployment in our region being higher than anywhere else in the world, it’s important to drive talent into the SMEs that need them.
When SMEs were asked what their biggest challenge is, you may surprised to know that it’s NOT in raising capital – but rather, talent acquisition. At the same time, job seekers are increasingly becoming more attracted to work in smaller, more agile organizations rather than corporate giants, or Multinationals. SMEs offer opportunities and certain features the big boys can’t always offer – the problem is in giving them their deserved exposure, and a better means of recruiting! Laimoon seeks to fill this gap, and provide a channel for talent to be matched with the right SME jobs.
